Cookie Policy

How we use cookies.

Last updated: 2026-05-05

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site places on your browser to remember information between requests. Some are essential (the site cannot function without them). Others are non-essential — used for analytics or marketing. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)) and equivalent laws, non-essential cookies require your prior consent.

What we use, and why

We group cookies into three categories:

  • Essential — strictly necessary to operate forms and protect against abuse. Set automatically; consent not required.
  • Analytics — anonymized measurement of how the site is used, so we can improve content and navigation. Set only after you accept analytics in the consent banner.
  • Marketing — audience measurement to reach press, partners, and potential collaborators on platforms like LinkedIn. Set only after you accept marketing in the consent banner.

Who sets cookies on this site

Essential cookies are set by Evercraft (only when you submit a form, only for the duration of that submission). Non-essential cookies, when you accept them, come from a small set of third-party providers — Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Meta Pixel. Each provider manages their own cookie names and lifetimes; the up-to-date list lives in their cookie disclosures linked below.

Note: your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key evercraft-consent — not in a cookie. It never leaves your device and is read only by your own browser to remember your decision. Clearing site data wipes it and you'll be asked again on your next visit.

Cookie inventory

Below is the current list of cookies that may be set. Third-party providers occasionally rotate their cookie names; in case of discrepancy, the provider's own cookie disclosure (linked further down this page) is authoritative.

Provider-side cookie definitions can change. The links in the next section open the authoritative inventories maintained by each provider.

Consent — how it works

On your first visit, the cookie banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Essential cookies fire either way (they have to, for forms to work). You can revisit your choice any time by clicking the Cookie settings link in the footer.

If you reject non-essential cookies, no analytics or marketing cookies are set on your browser. Site browsing remains fully functional.

Third-party cookies

Analytics and marketing cookies are set by third-party services we use to understand our audience. These providers act as data processors under our written terms (GDPR Article 28). For their own privacy practices, see:

How to control cookies in your browser

You can also control cookies via your browser settings:

Note: blocking essential cookies will prevent forms from submitting. Blocking only non-essential cookies is fine — the site stays fully usable.

Updates

We may revise this policy when we add or remove a provider, or when law requires. The Last updated date at the top reflects the current version.

This policy is drafted to align with EU ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3) and EU GDPR. Specific cookies and providers are subject to the consent banner currently being deployed; final wording is pending review by Estonian counsel before launch.
